Full Out

Hello and welcome to my website, Full-Out! A dance blogging website made for all ages to enjoy! I hope you enjoy the website and that it encourages you to try out dance, either by watching, supporting, or taking a class!

 

The purpose of creating this website was to provide a space for fans of dance to come together, whether they are dancers or simply watchers. To frame this conversation, I've incorporated a blog where I post weekly. My posts vary from current events to discussing the state of dance and how it is important culturally. 

 

I find that as I get older, dance is gradually shifting from the school of thought where it was only ballerinas and tutu's into a contemporary art where movement can be more pesdestrian and grounded as opposed to light and airy. I aim to cover this change and add my own opinions into the conversation. I want to create an ongoing discussion that my followers can contribute to as well and a platform for their voices to be heard.

 

Through this website, I want to inspire people and encourage followers who have children to enroll their students in dance and show that it isn't as cutthroat as reality televsion leads the general population to believe. One of my major goals is to change the way the general public views dance and show that it isn't an exclusive art. 

 

My own history of dance has been one of recreation, and through this website and through the followers I gain, I want to develop a universal understanding and learn as much as I possibly can. If I am able to provide guidance to young dancers, I want to provide that as well. I want this space to be open and not be exclusive.
